Start with the basics!

A great way to learn is through the internet! There are so many great (and free) sewing tutorials online. To start learing about sewing basics, I would recomend this channel. And for some fun, (but not as practical) inspiration, I would recomend this channel. The best way to learn is through trial and error, so I would recomend just setting some goals for yourself and then finding videos on how to accomplish them!

Here is an example of how you could start learning!

Once you have completed a goal, check it off your list!

Either gather or order some basic sewing supplys
Try a simple alteration: crop a t-shirt!
Now try embroidering somthing on that shirt, and if you want, you can hem the shirt!
Now try making a mask! If you don't have fabric, you can use the scrap fabric from the t-shirt you cropped!
